The surgery has been put on hold for a while longer. We're all hoping it won't be very much longer. The sooner he can get it the sooner he can be back in Texas. Keep praying!!!

Don't worry Sean you will have the surgery soon and be back home! I'm sure they have a good reason to postpone it. Even though we wanted you back home a month ago we know that you need this time to heal and this can't be something that is rushed. We are still praying for you and your strength everyday. You and your family are NEVER far from our thoughts.
We love and miss you! Hurry back to Texas...it's just not the same with you gone!
Gwen
Rest well Sean, Let us worry for you and your family! Take your time, and get it right! The Doctors have good reasons for their delay... you need time and strength... so rest well!
The world is thinking of you... reminiscing back to all the good times your smile has brought into our lives!
Sean,
There is no doubt God has a definate time schedule for your recovery and healing process... It is not in your nature to let anyone or anything have control of you but this time it's OK! Rest Rest Rest and let God work in his timeframe!
May God Bless You and your Family
Sean, this is not a set back but a step in the right direction to help you get to a full recovery. We are all kind of selfish and really want you home but I am sure everyone agrees that what is best for you is the most important thing. The doctors know what that is and they will know the right time for you. God is guiding their decision to know when the time is right and will guide their hands when they do the repairs to your body. Please remember what I told you a couple of days ago. Let me worry and you rest. Trust me, I got it covered. You can enjoy the rest now and become more active when you are back in Texas.
You will be good as new when this is over. Sweetheart you will have all the help you need. You have a lot of love coming to you now. Relax with that. We will see what tomorrow brings. A few more days rest and you may be much better.
Just know one thing. You are in my prayers several times a day and your family is also. God Bless the Bolton Family!!!
For now just rest baby and enjoy the chance you get to relax. You will be home soon. If you need anything, call me. Take care Sean!!

I look forward to seeing people I hadnt seen in a while, and meeting new ones from this blog (Like Tracy). I think we will all make you proud!
As for this postponement of surgery...Im sure its easier said than done, but just try to relax. Trust in the doctors. Have faith they are being guided by God, as someone else had said. You have come so very far and have made so many accomplishments! Hang in there, they'll get ya up and out of there just as soon as they can :) Timing is everything!
Youre on my mind tonight, like most, hope you got my card I sent. When your family posted the address I couldnt wait to get something in the mail! I dont know about you, but I like getting "Fan Mail" hee hee... Get some rest and I'll check on ya via the blog tomorrow!

Sean, Many people have been praying for you and your family. Many people that you may not know or who you knew back in elementary school have been praying for you & continue to pray for you. God knows what is best and His timing is best. Trust in Him! He loves you! Take care and rest!

Still praying for you and your family!! You are missed.
Good morning Sean... so, Im driving to work this morning down 183 thru the mid cities..With "pray for sean" on my back windshield I hear someone honk at me. I look over and this lady is smiling at me and giving me a "thumbs up"! I immediately got chills and tears welled up in my eyes! She might have known you, she might have not. But she obviously knew that SEAN was special to me and needed prayer! Man, I still have chills!
Hope today brings you great things!
much love

More than 60 groups, businesses, and bands are joining forces Sunday to host a country, southern rock, and rock and roll concert to raise money for Burleson Police Sgt. Sean Bolton, who was critically injured while vacationing in Florida.
The Burleson Police Officers Association, Burleson Professional Firefighters Association, Burleson Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, and Burleson's Citizens on Patrol are hosting the Sean Bolton Benefit Concert on May 18 at the stadium at Kerr Middle School. The gates open at noon. Eight bands, including Tommy Alverson will play until 9 p.m.
Sean Bolton, 37, is a 12-year veteran of the Burleson Police Department. He was critically injured Saturday, April 19, in an off-duty motorcycle accident. Bolton, who supervises the department's six-man traffic unit, is in critical but stable condition in a Florida hospital. His family updates his progress daily via the blog, www.seanbolton.blogspot.com.
Sunday's first band, SouthBound, will perform at 1 p.m., followed by The Robert Donahue Band at 2 p.m., the Bottom Line at 3 p.m., Casey Brooke Hardin Band at 4 p.m., Don McRay at 5 p.m., Tommy Alverson at 6 p.m., 281 South at 7 p.m., and Powder Kegz at 8 p.m.
Raffle items will be awarded between bands. Those items include a Benelli shotgun, spa package, helmet, scuba certification courses, a gently-used Bowflex, custom-fit boots, a pistol case, and an acoustic guitar. Also included are gift cards and gift packs from restaurants and local businesses, vouchers for Texas Ranger baseball games, and more. Tickets for the big items are $5. Tickets for the smaller items are one for $1 or six tickets for $5. You do not have to be present to win.
Members of the Burleson Lions Club are cooking and selling hot dogs and hamburgers, donated by Bransom's Grocery; OT Dogs will sell bratwurst; and the Iron Pig Motorcycle Club, of which Bolton is a member, will sell barbecue, beans, and potato salad. Peter Piper Pizza, Domino's Pizza, Burleson Pizza Company, Papa John's Pizza and Mr. Jim's Pizza all donated pizza to help raise funds for the injured sergeant. Water will also be available for sale.
In addition to barbecue, members of the Iron Pig Motorcycle Club are selling tickets for $10 for the chance to win a 2008 Harley Davidson Sportster 883. The proceeds will go to the Sean Bolton Emergency Fund at Pinnacle Bank on Alsbury Boulevard. The winner of the Sportster will be announced at a later date.
Sean Bolton Benefit Concert Warrior of the Road t-shirts are $15, concert koozies are $5, and “Hope, Faith, Courage” bracelets are $2. Members of the Burleson Police Wives Association will staff that fundraising venture.
There's more to this event than food, raffle items, and good music. For just $1, try your luck at dunking firefighters and their friends at the dunking booth manned by members of the Burleson Professional Firefighters Association. One throw is $1 or take six shots for $5.
The Burleson Police Department's traffic unit, four Harley Davidson motorcycles (including the sergeant's motorcycle) and two slick-top Dodge Chargers, will be on display at the concert. Thunder Alley will also bring two motorcycles to the event.
The proceeds from the concert will go to the Sean Bolton Emergency Fund set up at Pinnacle Bank (formerly First State Bank). Employees of National Bank of Texas, First National Bank of Burleson, and Pinnacle Bank have volunteered their time to count the money at the event.
For more information about the event, call BPOA President Mike Owen at 817-739-739-5183 or alumni association president Tim Ivy at 817-721-7903.
Sean is still improving. His doctor said this morning that he's doing remarkable and even yesterday said he's a miracle. Keep praying because God is listening!
The Bolton Family
Everyone is praying for you Sean.
The town has turned itself inside out with support. People from everywhere-PD's from all over are coming to the benefit. Maybe we should have gotten a bigger location...LOL. I know you would not believe how much you are loved-BUT you are so loved and we want you back in Texas soon. Its on GOD's timeline not ours so we are all waiting. So far GOD has been listening to our prayers and we know you will be home soon.
REST my friend and heal.
