The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

Hello, my friend; You’re on my mind,
Because you're somehow ailing,
But your response to any challenge
Has always been unfailing.

So I’m confident you’ll win again;
Hang in there, and you’ll see;
You’ll be back on top in no time,
Tackling life courageously.

i am so sad to hear what has happened, but i know you and i know you will come out of this like nothing happened. your in my prayers and my heart everyday. love always

Never take someone for granted.
Hold every person close to your heart, because you might wake up one day.
And realize that you've lost a diamond.
While you were too busy collecting stones.

To the Bolton family. My prayers are with you, and I hope that Sean continues to improve. As a fellow officer, and someone who has gotten to know Sean over the past few years, I know that he is a fighter, and wont give up. I will check in often to continue to get updates, and I will keep Sean and the Bolton family in my prayers.

Sean...today is only day 6 and look at you go, as a nurse I know that every small movement you make is a HUGE movement toward a much
'speedier' recovery. And as we all know MR CRASH you love speed....unless it ME speeding then you do not love it hehehehe.

I am praying for you everyday along with sooooo many other people who love and care about you. Keep up the speed on this one Sean and you will be home before you know it.

And, to the wonderful people posting these blogs, thank you so much for taking the time and effort out of you own busy days to let us be a little closer to your hearts and to Sean.

Love and Prayers,
Tracy Stevenson-Olanrewaju

Sean, I have not seen you in about 20 years but you were always my buddy in school. You were my sounding board and substitute date to things like Chicken Fry and MORP. Do you remember all the good times we had with Marri and the gang? When you are able to read this, I hope you know how many people care about you and how you have left your mark on so many people's lives in a positive way. My prayers are for your complete recovery as well as knowledge and skill of the physicians and emotional peace for your family. You better recover SOON because I expect to see you at our class reunion in the fall.

Your friend always,
Tammy (Reed) Means
