Even though Sean went through a 2nd surgery today, this was not a set back, but done as a precaution. The doctor is still very pleased with his progression. Please continue to keep all of us in your prayers, especially Sean.

WELCOME HOME SEAN!...WE'VE MISSED YOU!!
The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.
On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.
Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.
If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!
Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

Local public safety officers and volunteers are coming to the aid of a critically injured Burleson police sergeant by hosting the Sean Bolton Benefit Concert. The event is slated for Sunday, May 18, at the stadium at Kerr Middle School on Johnson Avenue in Burleson.
The gates will open at noon and the event will last until 9 p.m. At least seven bands, country and rock and roll, are slated to perform.
Members of the Burleson Police Officers Association, Burleson Professional Firefighters Association, Burleson Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, and the Burleson Police Department’s Citizens on Patrol are hosting the festivities.
The 37-year-old traffic sergeant, who is a 12-year veteran of the BPD, was injured in an off-duty motorcycle accident on April 19 while on vacation in Florida . He is in critical but stable condition.
Admission to the concert is a donation. Sean Bolton Benefit Concert t-shirts will be sold at the fundraiser. Several vendors will be selling food, water, and soft drinks. The police academy alumni will bring their mock jail and the firefighters will man a dunking booth, both to raise funds for the sergeant.

I am up late and just keep thinking about you for some reason so, I am lifting you up in prayer. I hope this is a good night for you and your loved ones who are caring for you. Without a doubt GOD is placing you in the thoughts of many who like myself, don't really know you. I know that GOD has many praying for your full recovery.

Sean, today at my son's elementary school; they had a message about you and the upcoming blood drive on the announcement board in front of the school. I found it very touching and a little amusing due to the fact that you and Kevin run traffic in the middle of that school zone frequently. Keep fighting and come home soon. Miss You, Dana

The Kwik Lube on Alsbury has a messsage up for you on there sign also. Boy oh boy...the way everyone in Burleson is coming together for you is amazing...but Im thinking you will be having to let a few speeders "off the hook" for a while dont ya think!! ;)
