The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

All you have to do is read this blog and realize that a lot of people have a lot to say about Burleson Police Sgt. Sean Bolton. So his friends and co-workers are putting together a scrapbook for Sean and his family. E-mail your stories and digital pictures to sean337@sbcglobal.net.

Good morning! It's Sunday and as you're going to church or work or just hanging out at home or with family, please remember Sean in your prayers. He's resting now and sleeping better. That's what he needs to heal. We hope he'll be back in Texas very soon!

Good morning Sean and family! Checking the blog first thing every morning has become my routine. Every day I read how Sean is progressing and healing and it just makes me believe in miracles more and more. The power of prayer is amazing and should never be doubted.

Sean, you are special to all of us in your own unique way. This incident has made me realize how short life can be and how special ALL the people in my life are in one way or another. I read something yesterday that said people come in our lives for a reason, season or a lifetime. I think you fit all those. Please keep fighting, resting and healing. Come home soon, you are missed so very much!

much love
