The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

First of all, I would like to thank the Bolton family for keeping everyone updated on Sean's recovery. My husband and I read it every day. You are all in our thoughts and our prayers. May God bless each of you!

Please find peace, comfort and strength in knowing that God's word says that He will never allow us to go through something that we are not capable of handling. It may be that during this time we need to call upon HIS strength, but it is with HIS strength and mercy that we make it through each day. I truly believe that God has GREAT things planned for Sean through all of this and that Sean WILL pull through.

I pray peace, comfort and strength for all of you. I speak life into every fiber and being of Sean's body. I speak complete and total healing over his body. I say to hell with satan and what he might have had planned for Sean, because my God has bigger and better things in store for him. I pray that God give every doctor and nurse that cares for Sean Godly wisdom in every decision that they make. I pray that as Sean rest that God, you would speak to him and encourage him and strengthen him. God, I pray that you visit him in his dreams and invade his mind and his soul. I pray that God you lean down, put your arms around his head and breathe life and healing into him again. In Jesus name, Amen!

Sean,

We love you and miss you and hope to see you back in Texas soon!

Love,

Bret & Stacy Fischer
