The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

Good Morning! Sorry this update is so late in the day. Sean is recovering from his second surgery. He's beginning to open his eyes some and giving the thumbs up again. This is a very good sign and he's continuing to improve daily. Thanks for all your prayers.

Good morning! Sean is still slowly improving. Most of today's update is about the same as yesterday. The doctor is just letting him heal at his own pace, which is what he needs. Thanks for all your continued prayers.

Thank you so much for your daily updates. I know that y'all are probably exhausted and taking the time to keep all of Sean's friends updated with his progress means so much to so many. Sean you have so many praying for a speedy recovery, but take all the time you need, they say, "Good things come to those who wait." I will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Ok Sean-an Aunt of mine phoned me to say since I am in the CPA and COPS that I need to talk to ya'll about ticketing the drivers that do not yield on the exit to Alsbury from 35. Yes I know that is not my call and I cannot do that-but I thought to myself when Sgt. Bolton gets better he'll be back at that job doing so. So may God continue to work his miracles and bring you back to Burleson.
