The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

Sean had a good night and got some rest. He's still recovering from his 2nd surgery, but doing great! We hope it won't be too much longer before he'll be back in Texas.

Thanks again for everything!

Sean, glad to hear that you are doing so well. I check the blog everyday to see how you are. You are a very blessed person and you have so many people that are praying for you (me included). I think when you get back to Texas you will have one big welcome. I hope you know that you have so many friends and people that care for you. You are such a strong and determined person. So keep up the good work and get your butt back to Texas so you can keep giving people crap.

Mike and Gina thank you so much for keeping everyone informed on Sean's progress. I know this has been hard on you also, but you are also in our prayers.
