The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

Sean is doing very well. He's scheduled to have another surgery in the morning. There's nothing wrong, this is just another step in the healing process. He'll be back in ICU after the surgery for a couple of days so they can monitor him closer, then he'll have to have another surgery. Please pray that God will guide the doctor's hands. Also, keep praying for Sean's full recovery.

Well Sean, I am praying for you and the next surgery you are facing. You will come thru perfect I am sure. God will work thru the doctor's hands as they do their repair to your body. Please rest so you can heal and come home. Just know that you have a lot of people that love you and can't wait to see you again. This will be a breeze for you and it will be over soon. It puts you closer to being able to be moved back to Texas. You will be on my mind tonight so let me worry and you can just rest. Tomorrow gets you one step closer to a full recovery.

Thank you to the Bolton family for letting us know what is going on and I look forward to your update on Sean tomorrow. God bless all of you!

Sean, stay strong, stay positive and baby please know that we are pulling for you. Sleep well sweetheart.

Lots of love, hugs and kisses.
