The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

Sean is still improving. He's resting and that's the main thing. He's ready to have his surgery, because that's closer to getting home. Gina and Karson will be at the concert today. So we'll get to meet all of you in person. Thank you all so much and have a great day!

Sean,
Take care of yourself and get back here soon. Everyone misses you. You are in my families prayers. The kids had special prayer at school the other day for you.
You have a whole lot of people supporting you and lifting you up in prayer. It has worked miracles and I believe it will continue to.

Good morning! The concert was wonderful. Thank you so much to all the sponsors, volunteers and friends that came and donated (time and money). Burleson has an amazing community and you should be proud of yourselves, we are! Sean had a really good night. He's wanting his recovery to speed up faster than any of us, but he's doing great. Thanks again and God bless!
