Tommy Alverson, a well-known country artist, is one of the eight bands slated to perform in Burleson on Sunday, May 18, for the Sean Bolton Benefit Concert.
The gates to the stadium at Kerr Middle School on Johnson Avenue will open at noon on May 18. The first band, South Bound, will perform at 1 p.m., followed by The Robert Donahue Band at 2 p.m., Don McRay at 3 p.m., Casey Brooke Hardin Band at 4 p.m., The Bottom Line at 5 p.m., Tommy Alverson at 6 p.m., 281 South at 7 p.m., and Powder Kegz at 8 p.m.
The price of admission is a donation. Sean Bolton Warrior of the Road t-shirts will be sold for $15. Bracelets; food, water, and soft drinks; and tickets for raffle items will be sold throughout the nine-hour event. A dunking booth will also be used to raise money for the injured sergeant.
Members of the Burleson Police Officers Association, Burleson Professional Firefighters Association, Burleson Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, and the Burleson Police Department’s Citizens on Patrol are hosting the festivities.For more information about the event or to donate raffle items, call BPOA President Mike Owen at 817-739-739-5183 or alumni association president Tim Ivy at 817-721-7903.

Good Morning! I waited to send this update until after the morning visit. Sean is off the vent. and breathing on his own. He's doing remarkably well and we're all excited about his progress.
