The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

We hope everyone has a great day planned for the holiday. Everything's about the same, Sean is still resting and continuing to get stronger and heal. We miss everyone and pray that all of you have a safe holiday.

That is great news. Just keep resting and getting better. You are missed around here. Keep your chin up. You are a testament to the amazing power of prayer, faith and friendship. Hang tight and you'll be home soon. I'm getting you a set of grimlin bells though.

Good morning. Sean continues to do well and is recovering. He's scheduled to have the 2nd surgery Wed. afternoon if everything goes as planned. We don't have the time, just sometime tomorrow afternoon. Keep praying and he'll be home before you know it.
