The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

~~~~SEAN IS RECEIVING VISITORS~~~~
The family extends their appreciation to everyone for giving Sean time to get settled yesterday!
The hospital says the best time for visitors is around lunch time and between 5pm and 8pm in the evening.
Let the parade begin!!!
Little do they know they have such a celebrity among their midst!!!
Sean ~
Wow this is great news. I am so glad that you made it back home safely and that you are doing well. I wish that I could have made a trip up to see you while you were in Florida (since that is where I am now) but the kids and time didnt allow it. We did pray everyday for you and your family and will continue praying until you are able to get home and out of the hospital. Your in my thoughts and prayers Sean.
Your long lost friend,
Tamara (Yvettes Friend)
You are one lucky man!! God is really on your side! If you think you didn't have friends before.... WOW! It has been remarkable to see how Burleson has come together to support your recovery efforts. Burleson really is the City Of Character. I am glad your back and can't wait to see you!
Sean, I am so glad you are back in Texas and soon to be back in Burleson. It just goes to show you that prayer does work along with the love and support of family and your wonderful friends and co-workers. This has truly been a miracle in the making. Sean, as soon as you are able you will get those buffalo wings you are so anxioius to have. Gloria, back in Panama City, Florida, told me that is what you have missed alot in the order of food. Go slow, do what the doctors say and you will be back really soon. Glad you are finally so close to home.
