The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

We just saw Sean a little while ago. His sedation meds have been cut off all day, with only some pain meds occasionally. He is slowly responding. We are all cautiously optimistic about everything. We all want to thank each and everyone for your prayers thoughts and calls for our son. He is truly blessed to have all of ya'll as friends. Keep him in your prayers.

Thanks, Sean's family

Sean's Family,

Thank you for posting information on Saun's progress. Dave (better known in the Iron Pigs world as "Doc" or Wart's dad) and I (better known as Coy's mom) constantly pray for Saun. Prayers are being lifted up for him in the Philippines where Dave is working, and in Houston where I am. Please tell Saun we love him and anxiously await his return home.

Sean is on multiple prayer chains all over Burleson. Not a day goes by that I don't get an email or phone call asking about him. Even a local cub scout troop that he won over with that smile and of course his bike, is praying for him. He is much loved and respected.

Come on Sean....fight.

Bolton,

If you take anything away from this, I hope it is that you finally realize how much your friends love you. We give you a hard time, but if you had been a fly on the wall when we all found out April 19, I think you would be amazed. You are such a force. Get your butt back to Texas so we can harass you 24/7.

Good morning! Yesterday marked the 1 week anniversity of Sean's accident. We can hardly believe all the progress he's made in that 7 days, nor all the friends we've met and the prayers that have gone up for him from all over the United States. Hopefully, we are close to bringing him back to Texas. Prayer needs at this present time are: he'll progress enough in the next few days to be transported, that paperwork, etc. will be done quickly and smoothly, that we'll find the best doctor and hospital to meet SEAN'S needs and that the road ahead will be smooth. Thanks for your continued prayers.
