The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

Sean had a good night last night and if everything goes as planned, he's supposed to have the 1st surgery this afternoon. It's scheduled for 3:00 and we were hoping that if you are where you can, could everyone stop for a few minutes and say a prayer at 3:00? That will be a united prayer uplifting up the doctors and Sean. Set your phone alarms or watches so we can all pray at the same time. This will be one voice praying for Sean. Thanks for all your prayers.

To the Bolton Family, and Sean... I pray for you all everyday, several times a day. I have no doubt that God is listening, and has a plan for Sean after he gets well. I pray that God will guide the hands of the Doctors, and that Sean will do fine, and continue in the healing process.
I am sure that Sean will return to Texas real soon, and continue healing right here where he belongs, and where he will be surrounded by so many that love him.
We are all blessed to know Sean, and we are likewise blessed that the Bolton family has kept everyone updated on the awesome progress that Sean continues to make.
Sean, you are strong! This surgery is just another step in the healing process, and I know that God listens, and he is listening now, making you stronger and stronger.
Hurry home buddy, everyone is anxious to see you here back in the big ol town of Burlyville.

Sean, I have prayed not only at 3 but all day. This is a big turning point for you. I feel God has been there with you the whole time guiding the Doctors hands as they do your repairs. Please keep getting stronger. You will need lots of strength for the healing process. You will be able to do this because you have a lot of support behind you.

Baby, you are getting closer to home even now. I hope you are resting well after today. Try to get some sleep. You have many angels watching over you.

To the Bolton Family....Thank you still isn't enough for all you have done for us so we could know Sean's progress. You are most amazing. God Bless all of you! I am waiting for the update after the surgery.

I pray that by now Sean is resting comfortably. Sweet dreams Sean; we miss you and love you. We just can't wait to know you are on your way to Texas. Lots of love to you.

Good morning. Sean's surgery went very well. His pain is much better this morning and he still has his wit. Thanks for all your prayers yesterday and for your continued prayers. Hopefully the
2nd surgery will be within a week, but the doctor hasn't given any time frame yet.

Thanks again,
The Bolton Family

I am so glad to hear that the surgery went well and that he still has his wit. What a trooper you are Sean. Once again, our many prayers were answered. What an awesome network of family and friends you have. Also, I know that you have been told many times, but THANK YOU! THANK YOU! for taking the time to keep us all updated. It means so much to all of us.
