The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

I heard a rumor that you were back home. Like at your house. Is this true?

Could we please get an update?

Thanks,

Dear Sean & Liz,
I sent an e-mail but have not gotten a reply so just in case you didn't get it. I wanted to thank you both for welcoming Yvette and Lane into your home. Lane needed that visit more than you can ever know. Just to see you and know you are ok and to hear you say you love him meant the world to him. Please keep in touch. We here in San Antonio continue to pray for your full recovery.
Thanks Again,
J.J. (Nana)

Sean,

It is with a happy heart that I read you are finally home. I have not seen many success stories such as yours in the years I have been a respiratory therapist. God has great plans for you!

Sean, I am glad to hear that you are back at work at the police station. This is awesome news. I still hope to meet you one day, my friend in Panama City, Florida told me you are a great guy. Now, on to something else. Who is this JD "Spider Wiggs" that left a comment on June 26th anyway? Hmmm, might be family.

Sincerely,
Judy Wiggs and family

Sean, I was very sorry to hear about your accident and am elated at your recovery. "A life changing experience" sums an incident like this up well. Some know better than others what you are, and what you will, go through.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your recovery.

God speed. tupper
