The rehabilitation hospital could only keep Sean, their star patient, for eight days.

On June 12, he was released, and one of the first places he stopped was the Burleson Police Department. Sean's police family welcomed him with a cake, a party and plenty of hugs.

Since then, he has been seeing more doctors than he cares to see. But, today (July 1) Sean was back at work handling the administrative part of supervising the traffic unit and working with the City's red light camera program. Sgt. Sean Bolton will be back on the streets, on his motorcycle, in the fall.

If you had any doubts about his will to survive, all you have to do is look at him. He's back, in every way, thanks to his stubborn, hard-headed, can't-keep-him-down attitude!

Thanks to everyone for the endless prayers, the cards, and the incredible support. In his own words, this has “damn sure been a life-changing experience.”

The benefit concert was AWESOME!!!

Good music, good food, and GREAT friends all came together in honor of Sean.

As a result.... over $12,000 was raised to help bring Sean home. Special thanks to the "behind the scenes" people for your hard work in pulling this ALL together!

We truly appreciate the wonderful music and the bands that performed.... SouthBound, The Robert Donahue Band ,the Bottom Line , Casey Brooke Hardin Band , Don McRay, Tommy Alverson, 281 South, and Powder Kegz .

THANK YOU ALL......GOD BLESS.

Y*E*A*H ... SEAN'S BACK IN TEXAS!

After almost seven weeks it's tough not to race over to see him. First and foremost, we all need to think of Sean and his recovery.

His family has asked that we please hold on to that excitement for a day or so to give him time to recoup from the flight and to get settled in.

Sean is at:

Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital
3020 W. Wheatland Rd.
Dallas , Texas 75237

Visiting hours are 8am to 8 pm, seven days a week, but please call ahead (972-708-8600) and schedule your visit around Sean's rehabilitation.

HIS RECOVERY HAS TO BE THE NUMBER ONE GOAL.

The family extends their appreciation to everyone for giving Sean time to get settled yesterday!

The hospital says the best time for visitors is around lunch time and between 5pm and 8pm in the evening.
